Coastal Bend College is accepting applications for a
HVAC Continuing Education Instructor
Location: Bastrop Prison
Salary: Negotiable
Begins: ASAP
Function: To conduct and supervise instruction of a Building
Maintenance instructional program in an incarcerated environment.
Position responsible for developing programs and processes that
provide a service to industry, business, students, and/or other
external/internal clients. Classes are offered during daytime,
evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes
are offered at various times and locations.
Experience and Education: Minimum 5 years experience working in
HVAC Texas ACR Contractor /Certified Technician License (issued by
Texas Department Licensing and Regulation) Universal EPA 608
required; preferred one NATE certification, HVAC Excellence
certification, LEED Certification, RSES Certification, and/or HVAC
technical trades school diploma with continuing educational classes.
Solid foundation of Superheat & Sub cooling, thermodynamics,
electrical, ohms law, and electromagnetism .

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
